“2-ne Piiriküti pataljon 5 rood” unit cachet not recorded in H/O. There is another unit cachet present as well “2-ne piiriküti pataljon Kirjadele” (H/O 1663, border guard units). Inscribed date April 3, 1920 (War of Independence ended on February 2). Sent from Irboska/Izborsk railway station (inscribed “st. Izborsk”), ex Russian territory, which Estonians captured in counterattack. Sent to Laura in the same area. Petseri area was part of Estonia from 1920-1944, Estonia got this area after the War of Independence. Very scarce.
