NB! 1937 inland “Poste Restante” stationery, postage due fee paid with postage stamp, Tartu-Karula

From 1933-1940 inland items addressed “Poste restante” commanded additional service fee 10s, which  had to be paid either by sender by additional franking or by recipient in form of postage due.  Typically poste restante items carry postage due T-markings. Here we see example where postage due fee was paid by adding additional 10s postage stamp in destination Karula, instead of typical T-marking. Very scarce and uncommon use of 10s Päts stamp.

For trade/exchange.
