Rare postcard sent from Russia to Berlin through Estonia. It has no Russian postmark, so was handled by Estonian diplomatic mail. Red “Venemaalt” (“From Russia”) cachet applied in Tallinn GPO. Out of over 100 “Venemaalt” items I have studied, only 8 are sent to foreign destination and only 4 of these have this last type of “Venemaalt” cachet without bottom value (PDV4 in my catalogue).
